Wolling's Dante was born in 2002 out of our favourite mare Wolling's Dauphine ( Pendock Plato x Wolling's Digalon Merch ). Den Bramel's Rio ( Eyarth Rio x Hengelhoefs Blendy ) is his sire. The peak of his showcareer was during the International Show in Belgium 2005 where he won the three year old colt class in which the Royal Welsh Youngstock champion became second.

Wolling's Dante has been used as a stallion for only two years in the Netherlands. Nevertheless he has brought some very nice offspring as Spring Star's Spirit and Spring Star's Jarno. The last was overall champion section B at the national stallionshow 2012. He gave also some very nice premium showmares for instance Rondo's Cerdice. In the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Russia and France are a lot of succesfull ridingponies by him.

In the shadow of the olivetrees in Roma
In the centre of Rome, only ten minutes from the Sint - Pietersquare Dante was grazing on two hills with olivetrees. ' Our' Wolling's Dante. He was born eleven years ago in Wollinghuizen, Vlagtwedde. In the Northern part of the Netherlands close to the German border. After two years of succesfull showing in the hands of Jan Flier and Erik van Lente he moved as a five year old to Poland. In Poland there are more than 80 fillies and colts by Dante. A couple of years ago he moved to Italy in Roma. We were very pleased to have a rendez vous with our Dante this spring. He is in really good shape and his last owner Maurizio said that he was a member of their family. We are now very glad that he is back in Holland.
